Affordable premises with additional support for new businesses

Community Spaces have joined forces with the Department of Work and Pensions to offer start-up businesses and the self-employed the opportunity to gain affordable

premises for their new venture.

This pilot scheme is aimed to support brand new start-up businesses looking to take their first steps by opening a site to showcase their fantastic venture to the general public. Individuals can be referred to the scheme via their Work Coach. The pilot is currently being run in the North East and has premises available in Newcastle, Bishops Auckland and Hull.

Alongside your Work Coach, Community Spaces will offer you support with all aspects of taking on your first business premises. CS will give you a helping hand to start your journey by negotiating terms on your behalf as well as where available signposting you to services that can offer you additional professional advice and support. Community Spaces will remain your main point of contact for as long as you have the premises.

If you have NOT been referred to Community Spaces through your Work Coach but are a start-up business looking for premises please contact us and we will be happy to help.  Community Spaces work with landlords throughout the UK and can offer a wide range of premises to suit your needs.
